The decades into which we classify our products (e.g., 1990s or 2000s) are based on our experience in vintage curation. They serve as a stylistic and chronological guide—but are not always clearly verifiable.

We use various characteristics to assess this:
These include dates in prints, collections, and lines, embossing on buttons, countries of origin (e.g., certain production phases in the USA), logos, fonts, label information—and, of course, our experience with vintage pieces.

We deliberately only list the decade because the exact year of manufacture for many items cannot be determined with absolute certainty. This way, our information remains honest and you won't receive any false information.
